Book Review: Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix

Alright so this is a the fifth of the seven Harry potter books and this is the one where Harry meets the order of the phoenix which Dumbledore put together to protect all muggle born and anyone else that Voldemort goes looking for trouble with. These are some of the people in the order Tonks Sirius Black Lupin Mad eye Moody Snape Dumbledore. Those are all I can remember.  >.<

The theme of this book is Love conquers all because Harry is sort of a symbol of love because he is really nice to people and loves people more than Voldemort ever would. So Harry always wins somehow but he never really kills him because Voldemort always escapes before Harry does anything to harm him.

The language of this book is like this:

Muggle is all about the word that J. K. Rowling is probably best known for besides the names of her main characters.
The Deathly Hallows describes the meaning of the title of the last Harry Potter novel, and what the hallows actually are and mean (do not read this if you haven't read the book).
Wizards and Witches talks all about these words in Harry Potter's world as well as in our world and in other fantasy stories.
Lord Voldemort takes a close look at the name of the arch-villain and nemesis of Harry Potter throughout the books and films.
Draco Malfoy describes the name of this nasty fellow and what it means, plus the names of his parents and how they are used to portray this evil family.
Order of the Phoenix examines the origins of the name of this group and what it has to do with the ancient Phoenicians.
Hogwarts covers the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry, how it got its name, and what it is all about.
Quidditch describes the name of this sport and the names used in it, how they came to be, and what we know about their origins.
The Four Houses of Hogwarts is all about Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.
The Ministry of Magic looks at the governing body of the wizarding world, its departments and offices, and what it lacks.
Azkaban looks closely at the wizard prison in the world of Harry Potter, its name and reputation.
The Dementors examines these terrifying creatures, their name, and their well-earned reputation.
Acronyms in Harry Potter takes a look at the meaning and wordplay found in OWLs, NEWTS, and SPEW, plus what they become in other languages.
Magic, Spells, Charms, and Curses looks at what these words actually mean and where they come from, since J.K. Rowling is not the first author to use them, though she does so in her own distinctive way.
Latin for Spells goes through the common spells for wizards and witches and where they got their names.
The Unforgivable Curses looks at the three forbidden spells, Cruciatus, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra, and the origins of their names.
Potent Potions describes the names and uses of the potions in Harry Potter's world, and how J.K. Rowling generally comes up with them.
Horcrux explains the use, possible origins and significance of this most evil object and its name.
Diagon Alley takes an in-depth look at the Main Street of the wizarding world, including its many shops and stores.
Pensieve is all about the magical means for managing memories.
Unauthorized Harry covers the unauthorized translations of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and why the real translation will be worth the wait.
Translating Puns uses examples from the Harry Potter novels to explore the challenges of translating word play among various languages.
Translating Names takes the common names in the Harry Potter novels to see how translators can best come up with good names when translating fiction.

I would suggest this book to anyone who loves fantasy and magic or magical creatures because this has all of them. I would rate this book 9 out of 10 stars only because it was slow in the beginning but like usual picks up around the middle and I almost always cant wait to turn the next page!

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire

This book is about Harry's Fourth year of school at Hogwarts and this year there are visitors and speak of challenges for these visitors and people of higher years than Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione but somehow his name has been pulled out of the goblet of fire! Which makes him a candidate for the challenges. His challenges get harder as he keeps winning and as he goes he wonders who jinxed the goblet of fire to make his name fly out of it. Because these challenges are deadly and whoever the person was, was not doing him a favor. Whoever it was wants to kill him Hermione says.
The style of this book is as follows Jk Rowling uses words like these:Muggle is all about the word that J. K. Rowling is probably best known for besides the names of her main characters.

The general narrator of this book is first person because Harry is telling his own story. I would recommend this to an audience of 12 and up because there is violence and probably a little bit of swearing so its not very suitable to little children. I would definitely recommend this book because it is a page turner and it makes you feel like you are actually there experiencing the beautiful world of magic.

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban

This book is about the famous book series of Harry Potters famous adventures in Hogwarts This is the third book in the series The basic plot line is about harry going back to school and finding out a criminal named Sirius black is coming to get him so he is really worried about that and tries to do one of the dumbest things i think he has ever done he tries to find him! So that he can kill him because he thinks he is the one responsible for telling Voldemort where his parents were which led to his parents demise.
The style of this book is the way JK Rowling always does her books she most of the time describes with colors and other fancy words. The Narrator of this book was Harry Potter himself, and because its him telling his own story.  I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants a good book to read unless your not into the whole Harry Potter Series. I would say the general audience of this book is 12 and up because there are elements where that might freak out a little eight year old girl. The style of this book is like words like greenish reddish describing people and places and just the subject.  MRW2 said:TIED FOR FAVORITE WITH FIRST INSTALLMENT! GREAT! Kin B June says: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of the Pages

People say that sequels always tend to get a downgrade, but not with J.K. Rowling! The third installment on the 7-part saga of the Harry Potter series doesn't disappoint! I found this to be very breathtaking and very confusing, but it's the best plot I've seen in my life (so far). It has many twists and turns, although, this one is very dark. I recommend that you read the first 2 before reading this one because it can get confusing, but reading this book first won't mess you up because J.K. Rowling does a thorough recap on the series so far.

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets: Book Review

This book is the second of the series of harry potter its about this guy named Harry and he has found out that he is a wizard and he comes to Hogwartz every year around his birthday to learn about magic, but his  only family he has simply does not want him to go. So he has to sneak out with his friends help. In this year there is something happening at Hogwarts that has people really nervous something that is getting the house elf Dobbie all worked up about and numerous times he tries to get him to not to go to Hogwarts.  So obviously he wonders who or what does not want him to go to Hogwartz. So the overall narrator of this book I would say is in first person because Harry is telling his own story. So its pretty easy to follow because he is telling his own story and your not following someone else's at the same time. The style of this book is like describing words like Ron had gone a nasty greenish color, his eyes fixed on the house. Clattering, Assured, Snapped, undertone

The audience of this book I would have to say is like basicly everyone! Because there is nothing that bad in this book but some violence so I would reccomend this book to any of my friends, my neighbors, my classmates pretty much anyone who likes a good book!

I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because it was really good for the most part but I really dont like the beginnings of these books because they can be really boring because of the muggles/his family they are not very nice to him which hugely frustrates me when he really deserves a better family I mean who do they think they are!? I would reccomend this book because it is really good and it will have you reading fast to see what happens next it certainly is a page turner!
These are a few people and what they have been saying about this book: Harry Potter And Warriors Lover said:"Chamber of Secrets" combines magic, fantasy, animals, beauty, love, and friendship all in one. If you're looking for a good read, here's your book!!! Nothing to worry about, even less worrisome that the first!!! Only thing is that the book is a bit too violent and it's not as good as the first. plo334 said:BEST THAN FIRST ONE

Book review: The missing girl

Well as the title says this a book review so the missing girl is about this family and in the beginning it seems all okay but as the title says its about a missing girl named autumn which is in the family and in the beginning it sort of introduces the family and you get to see what the family is like and you get to see what the kidnapper is like. He watches girls as a recreational activity and thinks its okay to do. Then eventually as time goes by he starts to talk to autumn and he gives her gum and when she gets a little lost she asks him for directions and it all kicks off from there. It also introduces the other members of her family like Beauty who is a love stricken girl who every other boy she sees is the next boy she falls madly in love with. She is just one of those people who just really want to feel loved, and will do anything to get it. Then there are her other sisters who are not majorly important but you do learn a little more about them as time goes on it turns out that her sisters have found love but not poor Beauty.
The major theme of this book I would have to say is no matter how many problems there can be in a family they can always be fixed, and be a family so stick to your family like glue because they are always    there for you if you need them or not. The reason why I think this would be a major theme is because throughout the book everyone has major problems like their mom has a cigarette addiction and their dad hurt his back really bad so he can't work for a while so that leaves them really poor. Beauty wants to just run away with a guy to somewhere far away because she thinks everyone is really just plain, and she doesn't want to think of who she is leaving she is just being selfish. Then there is one of Autumns sisters i can not remember she is really special and she talks to herself and she does not have a care in the world even when her sister Autumn is kidnapped she does not really seem to care.

The style of this book was first person but it would switch characters like every chapter so you would know what every character was thinking at that time in the book. There was no definite Narrator in this book so I really could not tell you who was the narrator or if there even was one. The main character at first I thought was Beauty but I was dead wrong The actual main character(s) was the family! It really surprised me at first but when I saw that it changed characters every chapter so their is no definite narrator but the family itself!

If there was an audience I would suggest this book to it would probably be teenagers because their more mature than a little five year old because there is a little bit of disturbing content in this book. That is to be expected though because a girl gets kidnapped! Also because the kidnapper does some pretty gross stuff to her.

If I had to rate this book out of 10 stars I would Rate it a seven because it is a little boring in the beginning but almost all books start that way to describe the characters and sort of describe the situation and where they are. This is the story of five sisters—Beauty, Mim, Stevie, Fancy, and Autumn—and the man who watches men.
He could be any ordinary man . . . but he's not. Unaware of his scrutiny and his increasingly forbidden thoughts about them, the sisters go on with their ordinary lives—planning, arguing, laughing, and crying—as if nothing bad could ever breach the security of their family.
In alternating points of view, Norma Fox Mazer manages to interweave the lives of predator and prey in this unforgettable psychological thriller. Source: Amazon.com Another person said:“The Missing Girl is an urgent, daring, compassionate thriller. Put it down — I dare you!” (—Tim Wynne-Jones, award-winning author of The Boy in the Burning House. ) Another person said: “This well-crafted thriller with mythic undertones...offers readers rewards beyond sensationalism.” (School Library Journal (starred review) ).

I’m happiest when … I am spending time with the people I love.

Someday I’m going to …
be famous

When I’m really down, what I want to do is … just write down my feelings and be alone for a while.

I feel anxious … when I'm not doing something i should be.

I like people who … are down to earth.

All it takes to make me happy is … to make sure I have slept and had my hot chocolate

What I really want to do is … go on a cruise

I wish that … it was warmer outside.

I don’t like when people are … selfish.

A person really should ... be grateful.

I just hate it that … somethings take so long.

I just love it that ... christmas is coming!
